How it is made
Flat handle uses a kraft tape rather than a twisted rope. It lies flat against the bag face, which makes for a cleaner front panel for print and a slimmer pack — a real freight consideration when you are filling a container.
The trade-off is carry comfort under heavy load, so flat handle tends to suit lighter retail and boutique programmes rather than grocery.
